“The College was recently honoured with two global awards of excellence in the areas of Applied Research and Entrepreneurship.
The awards were announced during the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) International Awards of Excellence, which took place in Vitória, Brazil.
Awards were distributed in seven categories, recognizing best practices from post-secondary institutions around the world.
Lambton College was awarded the silver medal in Applied Research for demonstrating excellence in addressing real-world challenges through applied research.
The College also took home the bronze medal in the Entrepreneurship category for implementing innovative entrepreneurial activities on an international scale through Enactus Lambton’s One Seed Project.
