Lambton College is excited to announce that their campus entrepreneurial incubator, The Cube and the Bluewater Technology Access Centre (BTAC) have partnered to host representatives from MaRS to offer a series of entrepreneurial workshops.
Launched in 2005, MaRS is a non for profit organization that has grown to become one of the world’s largest innovation hubs. The organization’s mission is to drive economic and social prosperity by harnessing the full potential of Canadian innovation.
The three-part Entrepreneur’s Toolkit Workshops are promoted as experiential, hands-on workshops facilitated by experienced entrepreneurs. Each workshop will focus on topics such as ventures tools, mentoring and peer feedback for problem solving, and the development of essential business components.
Participants in each four-hour session will work to generate deliverables frequently used in the business development process.
This innovative series has been carefully designed to help early-stage ventures understand the Lean Startup approach and learn ways to start collecting feedback from potential customers.
The tools and frameworks covered throughout the workshops will help aspiring entrepreneurs lower the risk associated with launching a new product or business. The courses will also help new ventures better understand how sales and marketing activities can be organized to attract potential customers.
