St. Clair College’s Jason Fabok

St. Clair College

Windsor, Ontario born Jason Fabok is a graduated from St. Clair College’s Tradigital Animation program in 2007 and was honoured as an Alumni of Distinction in 2014!

Fabok has carried his passion for creative pursuits since he was a young boy. A fan of television cartoons, he enjoyed drawing the characters and watching them come to life in his living room. Entering high school, an English teacher recognized Fabok’s talents and encouraged him to explore his budding creativity, leading him to enroll in the College’s Animation program. Fabok credits his growth and development in illustration to the faculty members of the program, who he says invested the extra time and effort to ensure his success.

Following graduation from the College, he studied for a year at the Word of Life Bible College in Owen Sound, an experience that furthered his interest to pursue a career as a comic artist.

After returning to Essex County, he was invited to learn with David Finch, a DC Comics legend. Through Finch, Fabok had the opportunity to work on Batman: The Dark Knight series, leading to his long-term relationship with DC Comics.

Fabok has continued his work with DC Comics on such projects as Batman Eternal and currently, on the New-York Times bestseller Justice League vs. Suicide Squad mini-series.
